Installation Guide

1. Download and Extract

  • Download the Codex Refund resource package from Tebex.
  • Extract the contents of the package into a folder named codex-refund.

2. Upload to Server

  • Upload the codex-refund folder to your server's resources directory.

3. Database Setup

  • Access your server's database management tool (e.g., phpMyAdmin).

4. Configure the Resource

  • Open the config.lua file located in the codex-refund folder.
  • Adjust the configuration settings to suit your server needs:
    • Set the Config.NotifySystem to your preferred notification system.
    • Configure webhook URLs for Config.PlayerDeathsWebhook and Config.RefundsWebhook.
    • Update the Config.AllowedGroups to specify which admin groups can use the refund command.
    • Modify the Config.CodeFormat if needed.

5. Start the Resource

  • Edit your server’s server.cfg file.

  • Add the following line to ensure the Codex Refund resource starts with your server:

  • Restart your server to apply the changes.

6. Testing

  • Test the refund functionality by executing the /refund [code] command in-game with a valid code.
  • Ensure that refunds are processed correctly and that webhooks and notifications are functioning as expected.
